Mario is the most famous gaming character of all time. The character Mario was first seen on the year 1983 in an arcade game known as Donkey Kong. After donkey kong numerous versions of super mario games have been ported and released in different arcade systems and home based systems. The Mario games are the most famous video games ever. The game play of Mario is quite simple. You get to play as Mario or Luigi and you must go on an adventure in the Mushroom Kingdom destroying or avoiding all enemies and hurdles in your path. The main goal of the game is to rescue the princess Peach from the evil known as Bowser. That was the main idea behind the game and since Mario is popular till now. Besides those adventure games, Mario has also appeared in various sports, racing and other genre of games. These days the flash versions of the Mario Games are also released every now and then. There are so many Mario games these days that are created as a homage to the original Mario games by Nintendo. Users can get reminded of the original gaming fun that they got by playing such games. This shows that no matter how many new, advanced games are released people will never forget the original and probably the first game that they played and that game is none other than the Super Mario games
